If you want the markers in Final Cut or Premiere, you want those programs to be the ones to extract the info. You can check that the markers have been included as metadata in the bounced audio file by opening it in an audio editor.
Some of them show this embedded data. Still, seeing that the markers are actually there won't help you add them to Final Cut or Premiere if these programs can't import the data. Also, I can't see any markers in imported audio in Final Cut. Can you point me in right direction how to get markers from Logic in Final Cut. What program can I extract them out? - Moving markers and audio at the same time? -
By jeffloven , February 26, in Logic Pro. This nifty move to forward or backward marker has disappeared in a project. I went to an earlier version of the same project which has this on one of the upper toolbars-I saved that as default but when i pull up default on the questionable version it doers not show. I do not see "move to marker" in the options list.
My new Logic Pro Book is out! I use this feature to toggle around projects. I also made my own shortcut button the will play where the looper is set when you hit "1" regardless if the looper is engaged.
You can also still change individual options from the default for any project. Not having the toolbar be a global option as in not changeable between project is a nice feature because different types of projects can have different work flows. I highly recommend that for any of the toolbar buttons and any function really you use a lot to learn the key commands for that button.
I use the toolbar to help myself learn the shortcuts. This will reveal the key command. Then I use the key command instead of using the button. If I forget the key command, I hover with the mouse pointer again to remind me. Sometimes I hide the toolbar and add a floating version that I can move around, and put it on my other monitor often above a mixer window. You can post now and register later.
